1.             Scope

This work instruction describes procedure for the Operation, Calibration and Maintenance of ICP-OES and this work instruction is applicable to ICP-OES’s (xxx/ICP-OES/01), (Make: Agilent Technologies, Configuration: Hydrostatic pump, Nebulizer , Plasma, Auto sampler, Detector(CID), Exhaust system and Gas controlling system located in instrumentation section of Analytical Lab.

2.             Procedure

2.1.           Operation

2.1.1. Open the argon gas and adjust the line pressure is 6 bars.

2.1.2.    Switch on the Exhaust, instrument and computer.

Instrument Purging

2.1.3.  Left the Instrument for purging more than 2 hours.

Initialization of Instrument

2.1.4. Double click on Analyst2 control centre.

2.1.5. Select the user name is admin and press ok.

2.1.6. Wait for the initializing instrument to be complete.......
